Tim will check to see if Zipp fiber optic services are available in your area of Grant County.

If they are, he will explain the process of getting your home or business connected to our system.

One of the requirements of having high-speed Zipp Internet service is a PUD Gateway box, currently being installed at no cost by the PUD, in areas where Zipp Internet is available.

You can also get Zipp fiber service installed in some areas where Zipp service is not currently available by paying for it yourself. We can contact the PUD and get an estimate from them for extending the fiber service to your area. It generally runs about $12,000 to $15,000 per mile.

If your home or business already has a fiber gateway box installed on it, it is usually a one day process to get your box activated and online.

If your home or business is in a Zipp area, but has not had a gateway box installed, it takes longer, usually two to three weeks.
