This book takes you on a photographic tour of Grant County, Washington. From up north in Coulee Dam, all the way south to Mattawa, and all the incorporated places in between.

The photos in this book were all captured over the course of a year, by Brian Bridges.

Clint and Carol Bridges, the owners of PowerNet, have been providing internet to Grant County since 1997, with the help of Tim, their office administrator. Tim has been with the company for over 20 years!

Clint and Carol’s son, Brian, is the company’s field technician and a hobby photographer. Before joining PowerNet, he also owned and operated his own video business, capturing corporate and city events, creating commercials, and mini-documentaries.

Being a field tech means driving all around Grant County, to do installations and help customers. Brian gained familiarity with the various cities, towns, and areas he passed through. He found that each location has its own quirks and personality. He was inspired to capture some of these in his photos.

We hope this book gives you a fun tour around the county without even having to leave your home! However, perhaps this book will also inspire you to visit these places, in person. There are many interesting things to see in Grant County. This book doesn’t even capture them all.

We also hope this book serves as a time capsule. These cities and towns date back to the early 1900s and a lot of the unique buildings and signage are starting to deteriorate and weather over time. As long as the photos are preserved within the pages of this book, the places can be remembered, even after their passings.
